Oi, tudo bom? Teacher G here! Did you know today is celebrated the Brazilian National Tooth Fairy Day? It's a REAL holiday! Most Brazilians are all at the beach (PRAIA) or at a bar (BAR) living their best lives(VIDAS). You must be wondering, BRAZILIAN TOOTH FAIRY?
Wait a minute! Let me actually explain: Today, April (ABRIL) 21st is celebrated as a national holiday called Tiradentes, and this holiday is basically a tribute to Brazil´s National Hero, Tiradentes. But what about ... tooth fairy? I was just kidding! Basically, the word Tiradentes means 👉 Tira ( take off - pull off ) dentes ( tooth) putting together THE TOOTH REMOVER(puller), I like to call Tooth Fairy, and the reason is that this man who was named Tiradentes was a former dentist besides being a leader and member of the colonial Brazilian revolutionary movement known as Inconfidência Mineira, whose aim was full independence from Portuguese colonial power and creation of a Brazilian republic. So he was quite big(GRANDE) and important(IMPORTANTE) to our Brazilian History (História). Here is the man himself!

Quite charming(CHARMOSO) hum?
Do you have a similar holiday? If so comment bellow :D
