Do you like comida apimentada?

Olá, tudo belezinha?

Feliz SÁBADO!

How was your week? Ocupada (busy)? Tranquila (chill)? Well, it´s Sábado and it´s time to unbuckle the seat belt and relaxar (relax) um pouco (a bit).

For today´s quick sesh I wanted to share with you one of my fav things in the world, BETTER THAN PEOPLE! Acredite (trust me)! COMIDA! Do you know how to describe your COMIDA? Or what type of food VOCÊ NÃO GOSTA? Vamos lá! Veja o vídeo abaixo:

Let´s talk about some of these words and exemplos: O bolo é doce. ---- The cake is sweet.

O frango é salgado. --- The chicken is savoury.

O frango está salgado. --- The chicken is too salty.

Eu adoro salgado. --- I like salgado(noun for finger food).

Rúcula é amarga. --- Arugula is bitter.

Eu prefiro chocolate meio-amargo. --- I prefer dark chocolate.

O limão é azedo --- The lemon is sour

A comida está apimentada --- The food is spicy.

Now, here is a native tip for you. We love to be dramatic and exaggerated so its commonly used with superlative, exemplos:

- O frango está SALGADÍSSIMO.

- Não gosto de rúcula, é amarguíssimo.

These phrases are the grammatical way of saying, but natives like to say them in a different way, take a look: - O frango está MUITO salgado.

- Não gosto de rúcula, é MUITO amargo.

Adding MUITO (a lot, very, much) gives a bit of spice to your speech and will make you sound like a native.

Dever de casa!

Can you describe how it tastes this food?

Quais comidas estão na image? e como você descreve o gosto (taste)?
